Three Crosses Regional Hospital in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab Team, dedicated to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

We offer a $15,000 sign-on bonus, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision. Ideal candidates hold an RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications and 3+ years in Cardiac/Critical Care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and active state licensure.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 3+ years of experience in Cardiac Care / Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments, monitors the patient and interprets telemetry patterns.
• Exercises independent judgment in the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care.
• Provide, direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients in a highly technical environment.
• Assess the patient’s condition, perform diagnostic tests, begin treatments and assist doctors with procedures.
• Monitors and adjusts equipment and interprets medical displays.
• Collaborating with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Communication, professionalism, and active engagement in unit activities.
• Demonstrating teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.

Responsibilities:

• Performs patient assessments, monitors the patient and interpret telemetry patterns,
• Exercises independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care in accordance with New Mexico Standards of Professional Nursing Practice, institutional policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide, direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients, in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment.
• Assess the patient’s condition, perform diagnostic tests, begin treatments and assist doctors with any required medical procedures.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interprets and records electronic displays; i.e. intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures, cardiac rhythms, ventilator settings, etc.
• Consistently applying the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patient.
• Collaborating with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
• Demonstrating teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
• Accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.

Requirements:

Current RN License

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 3+ years experience in Cardiac Care/ Critical Care preferred
