Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Exeter, NH is seeking an experienced RN for our Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves peri-procedural preparation, continuous hemodynamic assessment and assisting physicians in interventional procedures.

Requires NH RN license or compact state, BCLS and ACLS; BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for eligible hires. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits with on-site responsibilities and patient-family liaison duties.

Qualifications

• ACLS certified or within 1 year of hire
• Recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred or related cardiac telemetry/post- cath care experience

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patient on examining table following protocols
• Continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics
• Performs conscious sedation
• Mix and maintain IV/IC infusion and bolus
• Alerts Physician to changes in patient responses
• Assists Physician in interventional procedures
• Recovery of patient to Phase
• Acts as liaison between family, patient and Physician
• Maintains aseptic technique and dressing changes

****** Bonus amounts for positions under 40 hours per week will be prorated. Per diem roles are not eligible.

Prepares patients for clinical procedures and performs continuous critical care assessment of patients. Assists with procedures and equipment. Aids the Physician in diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Provides shared call coverage for 24/7 Cath Lab.

Major Responsibilitie s:

• Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table following specified protocols.
• Continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics.
• Performs conscious sedation.
• Mix and maintain IV/IC infusion and bolus.
• Alerts Physician to changes in patient responses.
• Assists Physician in interventional procedures.
• Recovery of patient to Phase.
• Acts as a liaison between family, patient and Physician.
• Performs procedures to include non-sterile, dressing changes and maintaining aseptic technique.

Requirements:

• RN license - N.H. state or any other compact state.
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire; BSN strongly preferred
• ACLS certified or within1 year of hire

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Required: Candidates without CCL experience, 2+ years ICU, PCU, ED required.

Recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred. May consider recent cardiac telemetry / post cardiac care experience and can demonstrate critical thinking skills. BSN preferred.

Pay Range:

$35.00 - $63.15

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
