Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System in Zanesville, OH seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cath/EP Lab. You will plan, provide and supervise nursing care during procedures, coordinate with the cath lab team, and uphold patient safety and infection control standards.

You will assist with patient transport and post-procedure recovery, document care, and participate in quality improvement. Requirements include ADN or BSN and an active Ohio RN license, CPR within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
  • CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Ability to read, write and explain moderately complex information to hospital staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing and to observe, assess and guide others.
  • Ability to read, calculate and prepare medications and monitor reactions.
