Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree verification required).RNs must obtain their BSNs within four (4) years of hire or promotion date. If there is an existing education agreement, that agreement will take precedence.*Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.Current driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.Unit specific certification as required (i.e., ACLS, PALS, etc.).Demonstrated clinical nursing experience.Demonstrated knowledge of home health or hospice.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Note: BSN requirement effective as of the last job description update on 4/27/2025. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
