Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments.
• BLS certification required and maintained.
• Texas nursing license required.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates age-appropriate nursing care plans using the nursing process.
• Maintains professional behavior and uses resources to resolve conflicts.
• Ensures a safe environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff.
• Assesses patient safety risks and applies precautions.
• Complies with organization and accrediting standards.
• Follows patient-centered care delivery model as foundation for nursing care.
