Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking Registered Nurses to provide nursing care and services at a facility in Lunenburg, Virginia. The RN will assess patient health problems, develop and implement care plans, and maintain medical records.

The role requires administering medications, monitoring patients, recording vital signs, and coordinating with the healthcare team to evaluate patient care plans. Additional duties may be assigned by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ condition.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
• Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s condition.
• Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by facility.
