Job summary

The Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, WI is seeking an registered nurse to coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. The RN will practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and may participate in committees, with opportunities for leadership and teaching.

Requirements include completion of an approved nursing program, current RN license, and ability to work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Student or Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call.
• Demonstrated leadership, effective communicator, and excellent critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient education.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Support transitions of care and practice within Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• May drive personal vehicle as part of the role if required.
