Indiana University Health is seeking passionate, experienced registered nurses to join our Cardiovascular Critical Care (CVCC) team. This 34-bed unit specializes in post‑operative care for cardiac patients including open heart surgery, CABG, valve repairs, heart and lung transplant, VADs, and ECMO.

Qualificações

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department.

Responsabilidades

• Care for patients on the CVCC unit, including post open heart surgery, CABG, valve and aortic procedures, heart and lung transplant, VADs, peripheral vascular surgeries and ECMO.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care on a 34-bed unit with emphasis on patient safety and clinical excellence.
• Participate in unit initiatives and maintain certification practices to support ECMO and VAD programs.

Cardiovascular Critical Care (CVCC) is hiring for one .9FTE RN on day shift.

The CVCC nurses treat patients with compassion, care, and clinical excellence. On this 34-bed unit, CVCC nurses primarily care for patients post open heart surgery, CABG, valve and aortic aneurysm repair, heart, and lung transplant, VADs, peripheral vascular surgeries, and ECMO.

CVCC houses the only lung transplant program in the state!

This position currently qualifies for a NEW hourly wage differential in addition to standard shift, holiday differentials and a relocation bonus. More details about these differentials will be provided during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
