Job summary

MetroHealth's Cardiac Catheterization/EP Lab is hiring a Registered Nurse to support invasive cardiology procedures at the MetroHealth Main Campus—Glick location. You will participate in electrophysiology ablations, device implants, and complex EKG interpretations alongside RNs, technicians, and radiology staff.

The position requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a willingness to work rotating shifts and on-call duties in a high-volume environment with a track record of

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the Cardiac Catheterization/EP Lab with electrophysiology procedures.
• Support RNs, Cardiovascular Technicians, and Radiology Technicians in case flow.
• Perform 6–15 procedures daily in a high-volume unit.

Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00

Shift: Rotating Shifts; On Call Requirement

Primary Patient Population:

• Adult Invasive Cardiology

Primary skills utilized/learned:

• Electrophysiology Ablations
• Percutaneous Coronary Interventions
• Cardioversions
• Device Implants
• Advanced EKG Interpretations

Personnel RN will work with:

• RNs, Cardiovascular Technicians, Radiology Technicians

Number Cases:

• Performs 6- 15 cases daily

• American College of Cardiology NCDR Chest Pain-MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
