SolutionHealth in Nashua, NH is seeking an RN for an ambulatory cardiology role. You will deliver direct cardiovascular care, triage symptoms, and collaborate with cardiology teams to tailor care plans.

The position emphasizes patient education and proactive follow-up. The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing with NH licensure, preferably a BSN, and has experience in cardiology, telemetry, or critical care.

Qualifications

• RN license in NH, MA, or state with NH-friendly privileges.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred, cardiology/telemetry a plus.
• Proficient in EMR and Windows-based applications; strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ambulatory cardiovascular patients.
• Triage cardiac symptoms in person and by phone.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and mid-levels to develop care plans.
• Administer cardiac medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Assist with stress tests, EKGs, Holter monitor placement, and other procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens.
• Manage lab and diagnostic follow-ups; document in EMR.
• Educate patients on heart-healthy lifestyles and adherence.
• Monitor patient responses and escalate care when needed.
• Ensure infection prevention and safety protocols are followed.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in an ambulatory setting

• Triage cardiac symptoms (e.g., chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath) in-person and by phone

• Collaborate with cardiologists, APRNs, PAs, and other specialists to develop care plans

• Administer cardiac medications, vaccines, and treatments

• Assist with stress tests, EKGs, Holter monitor placement, and other cardiac procedures

• Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens

• Manage lab and diagnostic follow-ups

• Educate patients on heart-healthy lifestyle, medication adherence, and chronic condition management

• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR

• Monitor patients for changes and **escalate** care as needed

• Support safety protocols, infection prevention, and emergency response

• Participate in ongoing training related to cardiology care and EPIC updates

Who You Are:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred

• RN license in NH, NLC state, or MA required

• BLS/CPR certification required

• 1 year of nursing experience preferred

• Experience in cardiology, telemetry, or critical care a plus

• Strong cardiac assessment and clinical judgment skills

• Calm under pressure and effective in fast-paced environments

• Skilled in patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration

• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team-oriented

• Proficient in EMR systems and Windows-based applications

• RN-BC, CCTM, or specialty certifications in cardiology or ambulatory care preferred
