Deaconess Midtown is building a new Cardiac Neuro Unit oriented to advanced cardiac and neurological care. This 19-bed unit offers nurses a unique chance to shape a growing service line while delivering care to stroke, cardiac, sepsis, and complex medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to advanced cardiac rhythms, bedside cardioversions, titratable medication drips, NIH Stroke Scale assessments.
• Join a growing unit with a structured orientation program and engaged leadership.

The Midtown Cardiac Neuro Unit is one of Deaconess Midtown's newest specialty care units, bringing advanced cardiac, neurological, and stepdown care together in a unique 19-bed environment. Nurses joining this team have the rare opportunity to help shape a growing unit while caring for a diverse patient population that includes stroke, cardiac, sepsis, complex medical-surgical, and ICU stepdown patients.

With 8 dedicated stepdown beds, this unit offers exposure to advanced cardiac rhythms, bedside cardioversions, titratable medication drips, NIH Stroke Scale assessments, and higher-acuity patient care.
