Role:

Provides patient care using the nursing process in a high-acuity, 28-bed intermediate ICU focused on post-operative cardiothoracic, vascular, and medical overflow patients.

Responsibilities:

Evaluates care effectiveness, coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational standards and values.

Unit Details:

The 4D Cardiac Surg Intermediate unit offers opportunities for cross-training with Neuro Trauma PCU and ICUs, and supports career advancement into ICU roles with an 18-month program.

Qualifications:

Must have a nursing degree (Associates, Diploma, or BSN), hold an active RN license, and maintain required certifications such as BLS. Additional certifications may be necessary based on unit requirements.

Skills & Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk extensively, and perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and kneeling.
