Job summary

Parkview Health is seeking an Inpatient RN for Parkview Behavioral Health, serving four adult units (55 beds) and a youth unit (34 beds). You will provide acute inpatient psychiatric nursing care to adults 18+ and youths 5–17, in a fast-paced, crisis-driven environment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients through crises, stabilize conditions, and guide them toward wellbeing. Requires nursing diploma/ASN-BSN and Indiana RN license, CPR, and lifting capacity.

Qualifications

• Requires a Diploma in nursing or an ASN/BSN.
• Must have RN experience in the ICU or Med/Surg.
• Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required. CPR certification.
• Additional certifications may be required for specified areas.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric nursing care to adults 18+ and youths 5–17 on four adult units and one youth unit.
• Support patients through acute mental health crises and help stabilize them.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, social workers, and other team members to deliver holistic care.
• Build therapeutic relationships and facilitate patient progress toward wellness.
