Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a motivated nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center to join a team focused on improving patient outcomes. The role requires a valid NJ nursing license, BLS/CPR certification, and BMT nursing experience.

Candidates should be willing to pursue chemotherapy competency within six months of hire and continue education. BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years is preferred, with OCN being an advantage.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• BMT nursing experience is required.
• Must be willing to attend classroom and clinical training to become chemotherapy competent within six months of hire.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) is preferred.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability, teamwork, education focus, and high-quality patient care are required.
