Job summary

Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Birthing Center to provide patient-centered care. The role encompasses assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care with a focus on evidence-based practice in a busy obstetric setting.

Candidates should hold an RN license (WI and/or MI), with 3+ years in a similar environment; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as required by department. Full benefits and rotating shifts included.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license.
• Maintains required certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP).
• Minimum three years RN experience in a comparable setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice in all patient care.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement through data collection and analysis.
• Provide care during PM/Night shifts and holiday rotations.

REGISTERED NURSE - Birthing Center Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids, WI Full-Time or .8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period 12-hour PM/Night shifts, every third weekend, holiday rotation

Registered Nurse A professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.

Experience/Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Ideally, there is a minimum of three years practicing as an RN in comparative setting.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).
• Current Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification may be required based on primary department.
