Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network in Middlebury, VT is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Birthing Center. You will provide patient-centered care in a small community hospital with emphasis on physiological birth, lactation support, and teamwork with physicians and specialty practitioners.

On-call is not required; relocation assistance and signing incentives are offered to attract qualified candidates. Vermont or compact licensure is required to join our caring, patient-focused team.

Unit Description: The Birthing Center is a LDRP unit in a small community hospital with approximately 325 births per year. We focus on physiological birth and our staff are all trained in labor, delivery of the newborn, transition of the newborn, post-partum care, lactation support, and stabilization of the newborn who is awaiting transportation to a facility with a higher level of care.

On-call: Not required.

Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
