A healthcare provider in Michigan seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for their addiction treatment center. The role requires compassionate patient care while utilizing nursing processes to deliver quality care and support. Candidates must have graduation from an accredited nursing school, along with relevant clinical experience. Proficiency in venipuncture, EKGs, and IV starts is required. This position offers variable shifts and accountability for patient care as part of a dynamic healthcare team.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Contingent Option 1: Unit-based contingent that reports directly to the Unit Manager/Unit Director. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse. Varies depending on dept needs. Cover vacations, call-offs, weekends and coverage during peak times as needed
Must be available for full time orientation Monday-Friday 1st week
Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
Minimum of 1-year recent med/surg experience
Substance use disorder experience preferred, mental health nursing experience may be acceptable.
Venipuncture, experience required
EKG, experience required
IV start experience required
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
