Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health in Newark, NJ. The role requires a BSN or higher and an active RN license, with 1+ year in behavioral health.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care and support to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include medication administration, patient assessments, group sessions, and coordination of discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher from an accredited program.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years experience in behavioral health.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and side effects.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality per ANA standards.

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and monitor for efficacy and side effects.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families with evidence-based techniques.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on mental health topics.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on discharge planning and aftercare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient environment
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols
• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA)

Responsibilities

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
