Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Registered Nurse Licensure with the New York State Department of Education.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of one-year nursing experience.
• BLS required.
• ACLS & PALS preferred.

• Utilize a team approach to provide clinical leadership.
• Assure the delivery of comprehensive, safe, effective, and appropriate nursing care.
• Demonstrate understanding of geriatric development to assess patients’ specific needs.
• Provide treatment and plan care for patients of all ages.
• Provide leadership and guidance for all staff within the appropriate departments.
• Access coverage for all shifts to ensure proper and safe staffing.
• Promote CMH positively within the building and in the community.
• Take responsibility for facility functions in the absence of the Nurse Manager or Supervisor.
