Job summary

Baird 4 is one of three University of Vermont Medical Center General Medicine Units. We care for patients with acute and chronic multi-system health needs, including respiratory disease, diabetes, wound care, alcohol withdrawal, and infectious disease.

This on-site RN role requires Vermont RN licensure (compact accepted). ADN is required, BSN preferred; experience varies by unit. We offer professional growth, strong nurse-to-patient ratios, and a collaborative team culture in Burlington.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by Vermont is required.
• ADN is required; BSN is preferred.

Unit Description

Baird 4 is one of three University of Vermont Medical Center, General Medicine Units. We care for patients with acute and chronic multi-system health needs including but not limited to; respiratory disease, renal and dialysis patients, diabetes, wound care, alcohol withdrawal, substance use disorders, various GI disorders, coagulopathies, and infectious disease. Baird 4 is the only floor outside the ICU that cares for trach & ventilator-dependent adults.

Baird 4 is one of three University of Vermont Medical Center, General Medicine Units. We care for patients with acute and chronic multi-system health needs including but not limited to; respiratory disease, renal and dialysis patients, diabetes, wound care, alcohol withdrawal, substance use disorders, various GI disorders, coagulopathies, and infectious disease. Baird 4 is the only floor outside the ICU that cares for trach & ventilator-dependent adults.

• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
