Phaxis is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Ballantyne, NC outpatient surgery center. This full-time role focuses on direct patient care, clinical triage, and procedural support in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active North Carolina RN license, a BSN is preferred, and has at least 1 year of professional RN experience. BLS certification is required, ACLS if needed, and strong EHR proficiency are essential.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs, administer IV fluids, and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families on medications and care.
• Manage orders, refills, forms, and prior authorizations.
• Triage patient concerns and determine level of care.
• Respond to urgent situations and assist in procedures.
• Maintain patient records and assist with QA documentation.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure quality care.

We are on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to enhance our clinical team. This full-time role involves providing direct patient care, clinical triage, and procedural support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and accurately document in the EHR.
• Administer provider-ordered treatments and medications with precision.
• Expertly start IVs, administer IV fluids, and monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and care instructions.
• Efficiently manage electronic orders, medication refills, forms, and prior authorizations.
• Triage patient concerns to determine the appropriate level of care required.
• Swiftly respond to urgent clinical situations and participate in emergency procedures.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and assist with quality-assurance documentation.
• Support Medical Assistants and other clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient flow.
• Collaborate with providers and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active North Carolina RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or client-approved BLS certification.
• ACLS certification, if required.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional RN experience.
• Preferred experience in outpatient, procedural, ambulatory surgery, or similar clinical settings.
• IV insertion experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with EHR systems.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and patient-service skills.

Additional Requirements

Successful candidates must meet required health and compliance standards, including TB screening and vaccination documentation or applicable declination forms. The ability to lift or support up to 35 pounds is essential.
