Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Antepartum unit to provide direct patient care during the night shift. The RN will collaborate with obstetric teams and may float to Labor & Delivery as needed to support patient care.

The position requires an Associate degree in nursing, active Kentucky RN license, BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, plus at least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.

The Antepartum unit is staffed with labor and delivery trained nurses. Nurses in this unit must be willing to float to the Labor and Delivery unit and receive orientation in both antepartum and labor and delivery. **Job Summary:**Registered nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned to his/her care regardless of age (i.e. infancy to geriatric) and is responsible for the patient’s care. The registered nurse promotes positive patient outcomes and the delivery of quality patient care. The registered nurse collaborates with the inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes.
