Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care. The role offers 30 hours per week with day/evening shifts from 9:30am to 10:00pm, plus weekend rotation and occasional call shifts.

The pay ranges from $36.00 to $55.80 per hour, with a new minimum of $37.25 beginning with the second October paycheck. Responsibilities include assessment, plan and evaluate care, delegate tasks, and collaborate with the healthcare team; requires IL RN

Qualifications

• Nursing degree at least an associate level; BSN preferred within 5 years.
• Active IL RN license and current CPR (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of start.
• Experience with professional nursing care and patient assessment.

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care and assess patient condition.
• Plan and evaluate care; monitor progress and document observations.
• Delegate nursing tasks and work as part of a care team.
• Schedule includes M-F 9:30a–10p with weekend rotation and call shifts.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Position Highlights:

  • 9:30a to 10p M-F (availability)
  • Wkend rotation
  • 4-5 call shifts/yr

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education:
  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

• License/Certification:
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
