Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join the Heart and Vascular Institute Matthews - General Cardiology team. The role involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic with an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, at the Heart and Vascular Institute - Matthews.

You will collaborate with the care team on EPIC inbox reviews, result follow-ups, nursing assessments, triage patient concerns, and provide direct patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required; active RN license in the appropriate state.
• One year relevant experience is preferred.
• Current RN licensure; ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT are preferred.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
  • ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT, preferred.
