Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and support transitions of care.
• Delegate patient care according to patient acuity, staff competency, experience, and available resources.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and demonstrate nursing leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program accredited by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license meeting applicable state requirements.
• BSN preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Computer proficiency; experience with electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) competency required for Arizona positions.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Additional state licensure, specialty certification, or clinical training may be required depending on the work area.

Education requirements for associate-degree RNs: Mayo Clinic requires applicable associate-degree RNs to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within the specified timeframe based on their RN start date.
