Summit Health Management is seeking a Registered Nurse to support patient care in Closter, NJ. The RN will welcome patients, prepare them for visits, and provide information on services to ensure a smooth experience.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 1 year of experience preferred; phlebotomy experience required.
• Current BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• High School Diploma/Equivalency required.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by the Provider, using the Rights of Vaccine or Medication Administration.
• Perform point-of-care laboratory tests, EKGs, and suture/staple removal, dressing changes, and other patient care activities.
• Collect and document vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Provide instruction to the patient regarding medications and diet.
• Authorize prescription refills as directed.
• Prepare patients, room, and supplies for visit or examination.
