Pinecrest Supports & Services Center seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse Advanced Practice to deliver high-quality medical care and coordinate nursing services across our programs. Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Advanced Practice to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality care and coordination of nursing services across our programs. This role will also manage primary medical care, acute and chronic, for individuals in an assigned Intellectual Disabilities program in collaborative practice with the physician group.
Possession of a current Louisiana Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or a temporary permit.
The temporary APRN permit allows an APRN applicant to work in a limited capacity for up to 120 days while awaiting review for full APRN licensure by the nursing board. An APRN applicant cannot medically diagnose or medically manage patients until they are licensed and have prescriptive authority. If the APRN license is not received within the 120-day period and the permit expires, the employee must be removed from the position.

Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Detail to Special Duty, Probation, Job Appointment, Promotion, Demotion, or Lateral Transfer. Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
Work Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:30 PM. Pass Days: Sat. & Sun.
REGISTERED NURSE ADVANCED PRACTICE $54.87hr. – $81.42hr.
This position receives premium pay of $ 8.00 per hour.
This position also receives Shift Differential, Longevity Pay, and may receive additional pay options.
