Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care across the care continuum. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, with collaboration across the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires organization, clinical excellence, and commitment to quality and safety. A valid PA RN license and BLS certification are essential, with orientation and competency

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• RN license in Pennsylvania upon hire.
• Ability to organize and prioritize patient care tasks.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• Successful completion of unit-specific orientation and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and manage the care of designated patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
• Coordinate patient and family education throughout treatment.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and performance improvement.
• Utilize technology and evidence-based practice to optimize care delivery.
