Role

Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering comprehensive patient care in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, develop and coordinate individualized care plans, provide treatments and medications, evaluate intervention effectiveness, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment, and contribute to quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Ensure compassionate, safe, and highest-quality patient and family experiences.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate of a nursing specialty training program, with the ability to meet unit-specific care standards. Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to participate in unit-based decision-making and safety programs.

Key Duties

Care for patients with acute exacerbations, new illnesses, and pre/post-op needs within a team-oriented environment. Engage in patient education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participate actively in safety, quality improvement, and organizational initiatives.
