Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a dedicated psychiatric unit nurse to care for patients with behavioral health conditions in an acute care setting at Cox North in Springfield, MO. The role includes intake interviews, assessing patients, and developing plans of care while ensuring safety and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates will hold an active Missouri RN license and complete BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred: BSN.
• Preferred: previous nursing experience.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience
