Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, applying nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will work within organizational policies and coordinate care with the care team.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS certification, and either a completed nursing degree or a Bachelor’s degree preferred. New graduates are welcome; hospital experience is a plus for PRN roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN Georgia licensure required and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities with assigned staff.
