Job summary
Baystate Health in Massachusetts seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide diverse medical and surgical patient care on backend units. You will deliver acute medical management, surgical/post-operative care, telemetry and cardiac monitoring, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
Required are a Nursing Diploma and MA RN licensure, plus ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. You will work with adult patients across various conditions, meet unit shifts and holidays, and advance nursing
Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing and MA RN licensure required.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Ability to care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Care for diverse adult patients with medical/surgical conditions.
- Develop clinical judgment, assessment, prioritization, and care coordination skills.
- Provide comprehensive medical/surgical care and acute management including telemetry and monitoring across multiple units.
- Collaborate with experienced nurses, providers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Meet unit-specific shift, weekend, and holiday expectations.
- Build clinical expertise and advance nursing practice within Baystate Health.
