Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a skilled inpatient nurse to provide comprehensive patient care, perform assessments, and develop individualized care plans that address patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.

You will deliver treatments and medications, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment, participate in evidence-based practice and quality improvement, and promote patient safety and satisfaction in a clinical setting with

Qualifications

• Graduate of a specialty nursing program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including treatments and medications.

Job description

Role Overview:

This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care, completing assessments, and developing individualized care plans that address patients’ physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.

Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures; evaluate intervention effectiveness; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; troubleshoot equipment; participate in evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives; and promote patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate of a specialty nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong assessment, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Work Environment & Details:

Typically performed in a clinical setting with diverse patient populations, including medical, surgical, and telemetry cases. Responsibilities include working in a unit with private rooms, dialysis, and telemetry capabilities, and supporting hospitalist and specialty services.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
