Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, a 496-bed facility in Las Vegas, seeks an RN to provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced environment including maternity, NICU, and cardiovascular units.

You will lead and support the healthcare team, uphold Patient Centered Care principles, and ensure Service Excellence. BSN preferred with Nevada RN license; BLS and PALS/NRP as required by department; pre-employment assessments apply.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• Experience: One-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• License/Certification: Current RN license in the state of Nevada. Current BLS Certification, Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Other: Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
