LeadingAge Virginia is seeking a registered nurse for a role eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). You must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license and have a nursing degree from an approved program.

Major duties include assessing patients, coordinating with the care team to plan and evaluate treatments, administering medications, documenting care, and educating patients and families for post-discharge needs.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a nursing program approved by a recognized accrediting body.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN registration in a U.S. state or territory.
• English proficiency for direct patient care as required by VA.
• Possession or pursuit of licensure/certification appropriate to level.

Responsabilidades

• Collects symptoms and patient history and coordinates with the health care team to plan and evaluate care.
• Performs triage and manages basic life support as needed.
• Records vital signs and prescribed medications, and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Educates patients and families on post-treatment care, diet, and rehabilitation.
• Maintains supplies and equipment and supports continuous improvement.
