Job summary

Centurion Health in Okeechobee, FL is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at Okeechobee Correctional Institution. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the guidance of the DON and Nursing Supervisor.

The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs, with three 12-hour day shifts on weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• RN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients. Shift - (3) 12 hr day shifts, EOW

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
