Job summary
Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join Mayo Correctional Institution in Mayo, FL. The RN (Medical) will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
Shifts are 12 hours with two weeks of full-time training required; active RN license and CPR certification are required, with the ability to obtain security clearance and pass background checks.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree required.
- RN license or ability to obtain one required.
- CPR certification required.
- Ability to obtain security clearance and pass background checks.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
*12 hour shifts with t wo week fulltime training required*
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
