Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the 12X3 night shift (7pm-7am) serving Richardson, Garland and surrounding areas. The nurse provides high-level care using the nursing process and guides a care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), a current Texas RN license or eligibility, BLS certification, and at least 12 months RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Additional department certifications as required.
• Texas RN license or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum of 12 months RN experience.

Your Job:
Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.
Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 12 months RN experience
