Job summary

El Paso Behavioral Health System, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and evaluate patient care with the health team in line with nursing standards. The role requires a Texas nursing license, CPR certification, and completion of Handle With Care training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 nursing experience preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
• Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
• Must have current CPR certification upon hire.
• Successful completion of Handle With Care to include physical hold and verbal de-escalation during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care according to the Texas Board of Nursing.
