Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Grand Blanc, Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4 South Cardiac Stepdown unit to deliver high-quality nursing care through the nursing process.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care, while upholding hospital policies and professional standards.

Part-time schedule with day shifts 7a-730p; MI RN license, BLS, and ideally ACLS/Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plan and implement nursing care for cardiac stepdown patients.
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Registered Nurse - 4 South Cardiac Stepdown

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines. Directs, coordinates and delegates activities in order to foster patient / family centered care.
