Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse 3 for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. The night shift role supports the health and well-being of residents and clients within state care facilities in Georgia.

Under broad supervision, you will assess health problems, develop care plans, maintain records, and administer nursing care to a range of clients. A nursing degree and Georgia RN license are required with 3 years of experience or 1 year at RN2.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Three (3) years of professional nursing experience, or one (1) year at RN 2 (HCP071) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess client health problems and needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain medical records.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.
