Job summary

FMOL Health in Jackson, MS is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care within the hospital team. You will assess and implement care plans, collaborate with the care team, and ensure patient safety and well-being throughout the hospital stay.

Responsibilities include following physicians' orders, participating in discharge planning, maintaining infection-control standards, and rotating shifts as required to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Mississippi State RN license and BLS certification.
• Willing to rotate shifts; overtime may be required.
• Good judgment in delivering patient care; strong oral and written communication; ability to work under stress.

Climate control and ambient temperature variances may be experienced. Exposure to limited amounts of hazardous chemicals or substances and infectious disease processes are a possibility. Hours of duty maybe irregular or unexpectedly extended due to emergency circumstances.

Qualifications

• Experience: One year experience as an RN needed
• Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Skills: Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations; current review in CPR. Must be willing to rotate shifts, days off and work area; may occasionally be required to work overtime.
• Licensure: Current Mississippi State license as RN and Current BLS Certification
