Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients under general supervision, using the nursing process to deliver safe and effective care.

Requires associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), SC RN licensure (compact acceptable), BLS and ACLS. This position is part of the Nursing Float Pool with 36 scheduled hours weekly; sign-on bonus of $18,000 for new hires with experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross CPR/AED.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Deliver safe and effective care to families and patients.
• Assist with patient and family education as needed.
