ASPYRE Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care in our skilled nursing facility in Illinois. The RN oversees total nursing care during shifts, delegates duties, and ensures adherence to facility policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the health team, administering medications, educating residents and families, and providing clinical guidance as the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active RN license in Illinois.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.
• Ability to work with residents of varying ages and medical needs.
• Must meet physical job requirements including lifting, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift as an RN.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment that supports residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and efficiently.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents' conditions.
• Accurately document care provided and changes in condition per guidelines.
• Act as a charge nurse and provide clinical support and decision-making guidance.
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols.
