Sentara Vascular Specialists in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient vascular clinic. You will deliver high-quality patient care, support vascular services, and collaborate with physicians and clinicians to enhance the patient experience.

Compensation includes a base hourly pay range and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with day shift responsibilities and strong emphasis on patient

Qualifications

• One to two years of ambulatory care experience preferred.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; NCLEX-RN must be passed.

Overview

The Physician Practice and Clinic Registered Nurse provide nursing care to patients in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic setting. Reporting to practice or nursing leadership, this role assesses patients, assists with procedures and examinations, administers medications and immunizations, and provides patient education and care coordination. The nurse manages triage, follow-up, and communication with patients between visits and coordinates with physicians and office staff. This role matters because skilled outpatient nursing supports chronic disease management, prevention, and continuity of care. The nurse handles clinical documentation in the electronic health record, supports population health outreach, and helps the practice run safely and efficiently.

Experience

• One to two years of ambulatory care, clinical or medical- surgical experience is preferred

Education

• Associate's degree nursing (ADN) is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred

Certification/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required
• Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination is required.
• Current state RN license is required.
• Ambulatory Care Nursing (AMB-BC) certification is preferred.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.01 - $55.42 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
