Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Venice Pinebrook Office team. The RN will support physicians, assist in patient care, and contribute to teaching patients through various care activities.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, have IV therapy experience, strong clinical judgment, and English communication skills. A valid driver's license is required for travel between clinics, with background screenings and vaccinations part of the

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.
• The ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
