The Arc of Delaware County, NY, US is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day-to-day health care support in our Day and Residential Programs. Based in Walton with coverage across Delaware County, this role offers a salary of $87,818 annually and a 30-40 hour work week.

Candidates must hold a NYS RN license, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2 years in the field preferred, a NY driver’s license, AMAP certification or willingness to obtain, and current First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
• Bachelor’s degree; RNs with less than a Bachelor’s degree considered based on experience.
• 2 years in the field preferred.
• Valid NY Driver’s License.
• OPWDD AMAP Certified or willingness to receive.
• Knowledge of NY laws and regulations.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to respond well under pressure.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment screening.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Salary: $87,818 yearly for Full time

Job Type: 30-40 hours per week

Location: Multi-sites in Delaware County - (Based in Walton, but throughout the county)

Responsibilities:The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide health care needs for people in our Day and Residential Programs.

Other Duties:

• Communicate and interpret medical reports
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Provide training for OPWDD AMAP & G-tube
• Prepare, and execute related policies and procedures
• Flexible work schedule for unforeseen needs.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License
• Bachelor’s degree. Registered nurses with less than a Bachelor’s degree will be considered based on previous experience.
• 2 years in the field preferred
• Valid NY Driver’s License
• OPWDD AMAP Certified, or willingness to receive
• Have working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for New York
• Must possess strong leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills
