Job summary

Eastern Nephrology Associates, PLLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time role in Supply, NC. The RN will provide direct patient care, including telemetry monitoring, wound management, and patient education across medical, surgical, and pediatric settings.

Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proven experience in direct patient care within a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical/surgical nursing principles and telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care by assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and performing nursing procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to promote understanding and adherence.
  • Manage wound care treatments, including dressing changes and monitoring for signs of infection or complications.
  • Monitor patients using telemetry equipment to detect cardiac and other physiological changes, responding promptly to any abnormalities.
  • Advocate for patient rights and needs by coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure individualized and ethical care.
  • Deliver nursing care in medical, surgical, and pediatric settings, adapting practices to meet the unique needs of each patient population.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and support clinical decision-making.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse within the Health Care and Social Assistance industry, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings. Your primary objective will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to promote optimal health outcomes for patients of all ages. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, advocate for patient needs, and provide education to patients and their families. This role demands a compassionate and detail-oriented approach to managing complex medical and surgical cases, including telemetry monitoring and wound care management. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
