Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing practices, with experience in various clinical settings. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and effective nursing care to patients across diverse settings, including long-term care, assisted living, and acute care environments.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and medical history intake, to inform treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices in medication administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations, including specimen collection and processing, while adhering to infection control standards.
• Participate in discharge planning and case management processes to facilitate seamless transitions of care for patients.

Skills

• Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for efficient patient documentation.
• Strong clinical skills in areas such as IV infusion, catheterization, phlebotomy, and basic life support.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities and those requiring Alzheimer's or dementia care.
• Knowledgeable in acute pain management techniques and emergency medicine protocols.
• Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate medical record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to perform physical examinations and conduct triage assessments in various clinical environments.
