Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team as independent contractors providing services to military service members in Oregon. The work is mainly on weekends with occasional weekday shifts under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) on an as-needed basis.

You will support health assessments, review records, interview service members, identify urgent concerns including behavioral health, and document results using our proprietary system.

Qualifications

  • RN must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • CPR and BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical RN experience.
  • Unrestricted RN license in the United States.
  • Weekend work preferred; some weekday shifts under RHRP in Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Support physical health assessments for military personnel.
  • Review health history, records, and questionnaires.
  • Interview service members to assess current and prior medical concerns.
  • Identify urgent concerns, including behavioral health.
  • Document interview results in the medical record using the proprietary system.

Attention all Registered Nurses, we are calling you to partner with us as independent contractors providing services to our Military Service members.

We primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in the State of Oregon on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

  • U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
  • Army National Guard (ARNG)
  • U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
  • U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
  • U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
  • Air National Guard (ANG)
  • U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
Responsibilities
  • Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
  • Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
  • Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
  • Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
  • Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
Requirements
  • Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
  • Certification: Possess a minimum of CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • State Licensure: Must hold an unrestricted license in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
  • Additional Requirements:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and the public.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude.
